Requiem: Memento Mori game update

Requiem Memento Mori

Requiem Memento Mori

A gigantic game update/patch was released for Requiem: Memento Mori yesterday. The patch was applied during the scheduled maintenance period and the changes it introduces are numerous.

Updates include changes to skills and DNA, Season 1 and 2 items, EXP and lant drop increases among certain monsters/dungeons, battlefield updates, new quests, bug fixes and more. You can read the full list of patch notes on the official forums.

The changes to the skills and DNA seem to have come at an odd time, considering that the free skill respec items given to plays by Gravity were set to expire by this maintenance period. Players were told to ‘use it or lose it’, but now players are in a situation where they’ve respecced their characters only to have everything changed on them again. Except this time, there are no free respecs (yet).

Thanks go to MerchantKill for the tip about the patch. If you would like to discuss this patch and the changes it brings, you can do so on our forums.

New SvS schedule

by Mcrat on Aug.30, 2009, under Requiem

Requiem Bloodymare

This week’s patch notes included the highly desired change to the SvS schedule. Players have been asking for more SvS times and a change in the timing schedule for a while now, to give more players the opportunity to participate in the events.

The previous timetable made it impossible for a lot of people (those with a 9-5 job for instance) to get in on the SvS action on any day apart from Saturday. The new timetable not only has more SvS events scheduled, but the event times are varied to accommodate for those who were unable to participate during the previous allocated time.

The changes to the SvS schedule are listed below-

Previous Schedule:
- Wed 10am / 5pm
- Fri 10am / 5pm
- Sat 10am / 5pm

New Schedule:
- Wed 10am / 5pm
- Fri 10am / 8pm / 11pm
- Sat 10am / 8pm / 11pm
- Sun 10am / 5pm

Free item mall points + free skills and DNA

This week Gravity announced that they had entered partnership with a company that hosts online surveys. Due to this partnership, players are now able to complete surveys in exchange for Item Mall points which can be used freely in game.

So if you have some spare time on your hands and don’t mind answering some personal questions, head over to the survey page on the Requiem website (requires login) and start earning your Item Mall points. It should be stated our resident Requiem guru, MerchantKill, has already tested out the survey process and can confirm they are safe and free from any nasties, and that the points are delivered instantly.

It’s all above board, and officially sanctioned by Gravity, so what are you waiting for? Head on over to the survey page now and check to see if there are any there for you to fill out.

But that’s not all for this week…

For this week only there is a sale on the Skill Reset Item in the Item Mall as well as free skill and DNA purchases in game!

Thats right when you visit the ingame NPC you can purchase all the Skills and DNA your heart desired for 0 Lant.

Take advantage test out builds, make a new character and level, and get all the skills/DNA you wanted but couldn’t afford at 0 cost to you. (Source)

So it’s a pretty handy week for Requiem players – If you play your cards right, you could be able to fill out some surveys, earn enough points to buy a Skill Reset Item, respec your character and buy all new skills and DNA at absolutely no cost to yourself!
