Marze War Remembrance Week begins

With Requiem’s month long anniversary event finally drawing to a close, you would think that tonight’s server restart would result in the game returning to normal playing conditions. However according to Hastur the Community Manager over on the Requiem forums, this was not to be the case.

For the next week (July 2nd – July 9th), the Requiem servers will be celebrating an event which is based on in-game lore – the Marze War Remembrance Week.

The Marze War was several decades ago but no one has forgotten the bloodiest of all wars. The War was triggers by the Turan and Bartuks as they fought for their independence from the Xenoan Slave drivers. In honor of those brave soldiers who fought and died for independence we would like the announce the following will be active all week long!

- EXP increased +30%
- Lant Increased +100%
- Drops Increased +100%

The war is over and Bartuk, Turan, Xenoa, and even Kruxena now fight side by side to fend off the nightmares which terrorize Ethergia. In this week of celebration, we hope you remember those that have died to make Temperions possible today.

Having all three bonuses active at the same time is going to make for a pretty impressive week. It’s almost as if Gravity took the best bits out of the anniversary event, and bundled it all up for a final week mega event!

Today Requiem: Bloodymare moved into the fourth and final week of its month long anniversary celebration.

This week’s event bonus brings a huge 20% boost to XP, making it an ideal time to kill as many mobs as possible and hand in all of those quests you may have been holding on to for the past few days. It also marks the beginning of War Week and as such, there will be Server vs Server battles each day beginning at 10am and 5pm PST.

Field of Contention points will also be doubled for the duration of this week.

This will be the final week of the 1 year anniversary celebrations so be sure to make the most of these final bonuses before they are removed and the game returns to normal.

Requiem: Bloodymare has moved into the third week of its month long anniversary celebration.

This week Lant (gold) drops will be increased by 100%, which makes it a great time to get in and start playing. Last week item drops were increased by 100% so you know there is going to be plenty of gear to buy in the auction house with all of this extra Lant.

It is also worth mentioning that if anyone was thinking of purchasing a subscription for this game, now is the time to do it. There is currently a discounted subscription drive being held with the prices of the basic and premium packages being reduced. You may now purchase the basic package for $4.49 USD a month or the premium package for $8.99 USD a month.
