Killing Floor

A new free content pack for Killing Floor was announced recently and to conincide with the release, Tripwire Interactive are letting people play the game, including the new “Level Up” content pack, for free from Thursday October 22 through to Sunday October 25.

Details of the content pack are sketchy at the moment due to IGN securing an exclusive preview and write up of the pack. The article will be released on Tuesday October 20 so expect more news then.

However, some details of the content pack have emerged thanks to an ad on bloody-disgusting.com. According to the ad, the content pack will include:

  • 7 new weapons
  • 3 new maps
  • New Demolition perk
  • Perk level caps raised
  • New specimen – Husk

It will be good to get a proper run down of the inclusions, but just by looking at the list already I’d say we’re in for a pretty decent update especially when you consider it’s cost price (hint:free). So if you haven’t tried Killing Floor yet but have been thinking about it, remember to grab it from the Steam store from October 22-25 and play for free!
