Soldiers of the Wasteland

A number of Soldiers have purchased Borderlands, the 4 player cooperative role playing shooter, and have been playing it for the past few days. The combined FPS and RPG elements of Borderlands are ideally suited for the guild as our favoured games are generally either RPG’s/MMO’s or FPS’s.

We have set up a Borderlands forum for discussion about the game including a thread dedicated to sharing GameSpy Arcade usernames to make it easier to find each other in game.

So if you are looking for a friendly guild to join and play Borderlands with, feel free to register on our forums and organise to meet up with some of our members online.

The highly anticipated update to Requiem: Bloodymare has finally launched after 3 long weeks of teasing update information. Requiem: Memento Mori is now available for download from the official site or it can also be grabbed through the torrent listed on the download page.

Alternatively for people who already have the game installed and who don’t want a copy of the installable client, you can just run the Requiem Launcher and it will download and apply the update from there.

All of the changes in Memento Mori can be found in the patch notes which are available on the Requiem forums.

UPDATE

In addition to the new update there will also be a +50% EXP event for the next 2 weeks!

A number of SotW members have already purchased the very recently released Killing Floor. It is a cooperative survival horror game (sharing similarities with Left 4 Dead) which pits a group of up to six people against hordes of zombies with one goal in mind – kill them all before they kill you.

The game features First Person cooperative zombie killing action, a persistent perk system which allows players to make permanent improvements their character’s skills and abilities, an achievement system, as well as the SDK which allows the community to continue to improve upon the game by making new levels and mods. And if that wasn’t enough, those who have fond memories of Hellgate may also experience a feeling of nostalgia as you blast your way through countless zombies on the streets of London once more.
