Apologies for not making this post sooner.

The Hellgate: Revival 1.2.1 patch has been out for some time now, I just never got around to uploading it here. Initially it was released with a few minor bugs but has since been updated and is now a stable build.

Another patch for Hellgate: Revival has been released, fixing a number of bugs from 1.0.1. Originally this patch was to be numbered 1.0.2 but due to the large number of changes the revision number was stepped up.

Full patch notes are available on the Revival forums. It should also be noted that the Zomper zombie skin option has been moved from the patch file and into the optional packages mod. So if you would like to continue using the Zomper zombie skin you will need to download the updated optional packages mod as well as the new patch file.

Maeyan has also stated that this patch will be the last for Revival, at least for a while, to allow himself more time to work on other projects. So a big ‘cheers and thanks!’ to Maeyan for all he has done on the project so far!

A minor patch has been released for Hellgate: Revival, fixing some issues that arose during the Fawkes Event that began on November 5.

In a post on the Revival forums, Maeyan explained what had happened-

I had borrowed addresses from various ‘unused’ Fawkes items to fix the sell values for the Retrainers. This is why your goods are selling for copious amounts of Palladium.

Along with fixing the Fawkes related problems, minor tweaks have been made to the game including fixing bugged quests, implementing the level 55 cap correctly, increasing amount of palladium within treasure passageways and introducing the optional ‘Elite for Normal mode’ and ‘Superior Quests’ modifications. The optional ‘Elite for Normal mode’ inclusion reduces the difficulty of Elite mode back to normal mode standards, but retains the bonuses of playing in Elite mode such as increased mob density and a higher spawn rate of champion mobs. The ‘Superior Quests’ modification increases the objective targets of quests by up to 100 and increases experience & palladium gained from completing quests.

A gigantic game update/patch was released for Requiem: Memento Mori yesterday. The patch was applied during the scheduled maintenance period and the changes it introduces are numerous.

Updates include changes to skills and DNA, Season 1 and 2 items, EXP and lant drop increases among certain monsters/dungeons, battlefield updates, new quests, bug fixes and more. You can read the full list of patch notes on the official forums.

The changes to the skills and DNA seem to have come at an odd time, considering that the free skill respec items given to plays by Gravity were set to expire by this maintenance period. Players were told to ‘use it or lose it’, but now players are in a situation where they’ve respecced their characters only to have everything changed on them again. Except this time, there are no free respecs (yet).

Hellgate Revival SP Patch 1.0 updated patch notes

Back in the beginning of August the Revival 1.0 patch notes were announced. 5 weeks later and the patch is still yet to be released – but with good reason.

The Revival team decided to delay the release of the 1.0 single player patch, most probably due to the sheer amount of really cool stuff they want to put in there, and thankfully Maeyan has re-released the patch notes which now include all the new additions to the patch.

Below is a sample of what to expect in the Revival patch:

  • Fawkes event loot
  • In game pets Cocomoco and Mantawraith
  • Dye kits including special ‘Founders only’ dyes
  • Transmogrifying cube
  • Skill and Attribute Retrainers
  • Unlocked ‘multiplayer only’ unique items
  • Dawn of the Zombies – a new quest where you kill 150 zombies!
  • New custom launcher
  • Standard balances & fixes

The release date for the patch is listed as October 31st.
