How to apply for Hellgate Global beta

Hellgate Global
Applying for the beta is simple – all you need to do is create an account on the Hellgate Global website and then click on the Gates of hell images you see on the site.
This will give you a 50/50 chance of randomly being selected for the beta. If you are selected you will receive the message “Your courage has been noted. You are chosen to enter the gates of hell. See you at the rift of Hellgate.”
Then simply wait for the client to be available for download and be ready to go on June 3.
If you’re part of the unlucky 50% and miss out on a key, don’t give up! There are numerous partner sites, such as mmorpg.com, that will be distributing beta keys as well so keep an eye out for any competitions they may have going.

Hellgate: Resurrection
But the name isn’t the only aspect of Hellgate that will be changed when Resurrection is released – we will see content from the unreleased Abyss chronicles and the new Tokyo update, as well as quest, game play, class and item changes.
So to keep everyone up to date with the changes associated with Hellgate: Resurrection, SotW member and Hellgate aficionado thegreatcthulhu has kindly posted a detailed FAQ on our forums listing answers to most of the questions you’re dying to ask.

Games we are playing
Torchlight
Members of SotW are now playing the addictively fun single player RPG Torchlight. We also have a Hardcore ladder available so you can update the level of your character and compare it with others.
Borderlands
SotW's newest co-op shooter, Borderlands is a mixture of RPG and FPS elements which has appealed to a large number of Soldiers. Join our Steam group and meet up with them online!
Fallen Earth
A small band of Soldiers have started up a clan in the post apocalyptic game Fallen Earth. If you want to join the SotW clan, feel free to share your details on our Fallen Earth forums.
Killing Floor

SotW is back once again playing Hellgate: London. This time however, playing the latest single player modification (1.2.1 - download) produced by the Hellgate: Revival team.

well since i only got to lvl 2...not sure i can comment much since i never understood what i was doign before
but both miz and i commented on how awesome the game looks in that vid compared to our old laptops

The Goatmen on that long winding Hill in Act 1 have been the death of two barbarians already. I'm not proud, im a noob. I am so used to running away/town portal/esc-click in bad situations its just not my instinct to try to DPS them into dropping me ...

Act 3, in Kulle's (sp?) dungeon. Went from 100% hp to 0 in .1 secs. I'm assuming I died to lag. It was very funny because all around me were corpses and then I just dropped dead. Also, the game says I died to "unknown."
It was going so well too. Almost...

SotW on Steam and Xfire
SotW has individual Steam and Xfire community groups set up to help members easily meet up with each other in game.
Our Steam group currently has 34 members.
Application for membership into this group is by invite only, so if you would like to be a part of the SotW Steam group, simply post your details in this thread.
Our Xfire group curently has 30 members.
Applications for membership can either be done on the SotW Xfire page, or in the designated thread on our forums.
SotW on Twitter- Looks like the server is having some issues and going up/down intermittently. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!
