Website back up

Technical Difficulties
My hosting providers were unable to fix the problem directly so had to contact cPanel support to get the problem fixed, hence the delay in getting the site back up.
Apologies again for the downtime, however I will take this opportunity to remind everyone that in the event of our site being inaccessible, to keep an eye on our twitter account as it is used to post updates as they come to hand.
And we’re back…

Technical Difficulties
Well after a full day of downtime the home page is back in action. Apologies to all of those who did not see my Xfire or Twitter messages, and were wondering what was going on.
At 4:30am yesterday I received an email from my hosting provider informing me that one of their servers had suffered serious damage. This was unfortunately the server that hosted our humble website, and consequently our site was unavailable for the majority of the day.
Thankfully though the server has now been replaced and they are in the process of populating it with the data from their nightly backups. I just had a quick look at the forums, and thankfully it all looks up to date.
I just wanted to apologise for the inconvenience, and to say that if something like this happens again (hopefully it won’t!) that I will be posting server status updates on the SotW Twitter account. That way you can all follow the status of the server and get an idea of the ETA of it’s fix.

Games we are playing
Torchlight
Members of SotW are now playing the addictively fun single player RPG Torchlight. We also have a Hardcore ladder available so you can update the level of your character and compare it with others.
Borderlands
SotW's newest co-op shooter, Borderlands is a mixture of RPG and FPS elements which has appealed to a large number of Soldiers. Join our Steam group and meet up with them online!
Fallen Earth
A small band of Soldiers have started up a clan in the post apocalyptic game Fallen Earth. If you want to join the SotW clan, feel free to share your details on our Fallen Earth forums.
Killing Floor
A good team is essential in this new zombie survival game. Killing Floor is a challenging game, so be sure to meet up with fellow SotW players to increase your chances at surviving.
Hellgate: Revival
SotW is back once again playing Hellgate: London. This time however, playing the latest single player modification (1.2.1 - download) produced by the Hellgate: Revival team.

Alpha / Beta testing

Been a good weekend thus far Alpha testing http://www.heroesandgenerals.com and Beta runs in Firefall in same day,
as well as popping a few levels in PoE.

SotW on Steam and Xfire
SotW has individual Steam and Xfire community groups set up to help members easily meet up with each other in game.
Our Steam group currently has 34 members.
Application for membership into this group is by invite only, so if you would like to be a part of the SotW Steam group, simply post your details in this thread.
Our Xfire group curently has 30 members.
Applications for membership can either be done on the SotW Xfire page, or in the designated thread on our forums.
SotW on Twitter- Looks like the server is having some issues and going up/down intermittently. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!
